Meet Analea

Hi, I am Analea. I was born and raised in Ukraine. I studied classical ballet up until college. After graduation, I moved to New York City to pursue my career in finance on Wall Street. Already having a severely compromised immune system and chronic health issues since I was little, working long hours and sitting behind the desk all day in the office only added more health challenges. I started having a severe back pain. One of my co-workers advised me to try yoga. As the saying goes, “The rest is history”.

After my first yoga class, I felt almost immediate relief from my back pain and had a profound meditation experience at the end of it. For the first time, I felt “truly at home” within myself, as if I had forgotten about this feeling for all the years, and I finally got it back. After that life-altering class, I was fully immersed in the study and practice of yoga.

Consistent yoga practice changed my life.

In 2010, I received my 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Sri Dharma Mittra in NYC. I was honored to be a staff teacher at his center for a few years, as well as to teach in other studios around New York, organize yoga retreats, and teach private classes.

In 2015, I moved to the Bay Area for my new job in finance while still offering mostly private classes. Later, I quit my corporate job to follow my passion for helping others heal and transform their lives with yoga and a holistic lifestyle.

About Private Classes

You do not need any prior yoga experience or flexibility to start your yoga practice. My classes are suitable for complete beginners and advanced practitioners. I customize all sessions to your needs, pace, and goals. In each class, I pay great attention to correct pose alignment, which is the foundation for safe and successful practice.

Classes can include breathing techniques (pranayama), guided deep healing relaxation (savasana), and meditation.
